Justin's New Brunswick

I thought it would be fun to show Justin's trip to New Brunswick in pictures. This was a work trip, but there was some fun to be had. One of the guys that was out there, Don, had his birthday the day before the four guys that were out there were coming home. So they whooped it up pretty good that night. When Justin was showing my the photos he took, it made me smile and my heart happy - he thinks of my when he's away:

He was working in Grand Falls, and these are pictures of the dam.

And some photos of old churches. Also made me smile because I've been doing research on what my beliefs are, and Justin thinks I'm a little bit bizaar by it all, but he took more pictures just for me! He said there were lots of old churches everywhere out there. The last of the three photos is kind of creepy.

A couple more photos of the dam.

A bridge in Florenceville, where Justin worked last time he was working in New Brunswick.

This is the World's Longest Covered Bridge in Hartland. Back in the summer of 1995, Grandma, Bradley, Mum and I all made a trip out east (all the way to the coast), and made a pitstop in Hartland. We were going to visit a friend of mine, but they never answered their phone, so we went for a walk accross this bridge. I remember how scared (of of my mind) I was. I am afraid of bridges, and of falling/driving off of one into the water, being trapped in a vehicle and drowning. The walk accross this bridge might just be the longest one in my life! It was horrible. It's also on this walk that I came to the conclusion that I was a pig in my previous life: if they have to swim, they thrash around and hoof their throuts and drown to death. Sounds much similar to my fear. Apparently I had never told Justin about this, because when I was discribing the tourist information place parking lot, he looked at me and wondered how I knew. Oh, I remember that death-defying walk!

Then they found the Word's Largest Axe. Of course two hunters (Justin and Dave) would find this facinating!

I'm just happy that Justin had some company on his trip this time, that I didn't have to worry about him getting lost, and that he's now back at home!
